Individual interview where I was asked to go to the centre and conduct a micro-teaching session, before being asked about questions related to why I want to teach and when I can start
The interview process was largely consistent with what previous reviewers have described. I was contacted by an HR representative who asked very basic questions that were already clearly stated on my resume, which made the screening feel somewhat redundant.
Following that, communication was poor. I had to chase for updates multiple times, and was given reasons such as the HR being on medical leave or asked to check again the next day. However, no proper follow-up was ever provided.
Based on this experience, there seems to be a gap between how The Learning Lab Singapore positions itself and the actual candidate experience. While it presents itself as a premium or prestigious education provider, the lack of professionalism and communication in the hiring process does not reflect that image.

Interview
I had three interviews in total. First with the HR and then with a subject head. The subject head was very friendly, and I really enjoyed talking to him. The final interview was the microteaching session. It was a bit stressful, but the tutors gave me feedback and were very nice to me. Throughout the entire time, HR was responsive, and everyone seemed to treat me decently.
