TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - GHOSTING !! I had a job interview at TOTAL SOLAR in December 2019.  - 1ST INTERVIEW -  I met with two persons from Total Solar Dubai Team on December 8, 2019. The interview went quite well, apart from a few remarks on an aggressive tone from one of them who questioned my Excel and PPT skills by telling me that I would be tested, which was not a problem for me, having a great level! This person also thought that the only purpose of my project of moving to Dubai was to spend "holidays" which is of course not the case. I think that the goal was to destabilize me, which happens during interviews, however I found this way of doing things very rude.  - ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SECOND INTERVIEW -  I received a call after the interview telling me that I was shortlisted and that I was going to have a second interview on December 16th. I was very happy because the position was of great interest to me and was a great opportunity for a junior profile like mine!  - POSTPONEMENT OF THE 2ND INTERVIEW - So I spent a lot of time preparing, researching, creating a power point... The day of the interview, no news, I decide to write an email to the HR department who tells me that the interview is postponed to the first week of January 2020 because the managers are not available and reassures me by telling me that I am still on the shortlist.  So I had more time to prepare myself and so I trained for two weeks by finding out about the solar energy market in the Middle East etc...  - GHOSTING -  1. Around the 7th of January, I have no news, so I write an email of Happy New Year 2020 to the person I was in contact with and ask in the meantime if the interview has been planned. No answer. 2. So I wait 10 days, and I try to contact them by phone... No answer.  3. 10 days later I try again by phone, no answer.  4. On January 27th I decide to write an email explaining my motivations to join Total Solar by focusing on the essentials and the advantages of recruiting me in a few key points I specify that I will be in Dubai for a month and that I will be happy to meet them.... NO ANSWER.  - FEELING & CONCLUSION -  My state of mind when I understand that I have been GHOSTED: sadness, disappointment, loss of self-confidence, incomprehension, I ask myself a thousand questions, I tell myself that a simple email telling me that another candidate has been chosen or that I do not finally fit the role would have been enough to save me time and energy.
