I found the position online, and applied through the corporate website. I was contacted within a few weeks and scheduled a phone call 3 weeks after I applied. It went well, very conversational and easy going. Then I waited... and waited... a month passed (granted this process started during the summer, so I understand employee vacations may be a factor). I started to forget I applied because that is just how poorly they communicated with me. Then I got a call from my original HR representative to let me know that a new HR representative had been recently hired and she would be responsible for the hiring process of this position. She apologized for the wait, but said they were still conducting first round interviews and if I did not hear back after three weeks I should call. It seemed a little fishy that they were still doing first round interviews about a month after my initial phone interview. For all I know I am still in the running for this position, or it has been eliminated, who knows? From beginning to now, it has been over four months since I applied.
