I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trader Joe's in Aug 2022
Interview
Took me into the back following arrival.
Sat down, greeted each other, got into the questions.
Most were very average of a customer service job.
Pay, days/hour availability, and get to know you questions were also asked.

Question 1
Asked questions about customer service experience, comfort asking questions, attendance, days/hours, pay you're looking for, and other experience. Also asked the base questions of what are your strengths and weaknesses.
I had a call with the hiring manager about a sales associate position. After a few days, I got a follow up to come in for a basic interview that went over my previous sales associate experiences.

Question 1
What kind of previous sales associate experiences do I have?
The interview process was pretty standard for a retail environment. They asked the usual questions you would expect for this type of role and required the usual amount of experience.

Question 1
How will you improve the customer experience at Trader Joes
Was awesome - very friendly and down to earth, seems like a great place to work. Hope I get the job. Some easy questions, about work experience and the like, but also some curveballs. They asked me to give a lot of scenarios where I encountered certain difficulties and $18 an hour is not bad.
