You would think that a company like Fox would handle their hiring process in a professional manner, but my whole experience was handled with a great deal of unprofessionalism.
I rented a car out (expense paid for on my own) to drive from LA to OC to give an interview which lasted about 3 hours. I was told by email that the offer was being extended to me. Shortly after, I was then told that there was someone else in the running through referral with no warning that I had not completely gotten the offer. At the end, I did get clarification that I was the one chosen to get an offer, but no official offer letter had been sent to me still.
After verbally accepting an offer through the phone where we discussed benefits and salary, I started working out dates to figure out a feasible timeline for me to move from the bay to LA. I was also told to give my two week notice, which thank god I did not give because the job was rescinded from me due to “timeline issues”, which your team did not even attempt to work out with me in a professional manner.
On top of this all, I was never given an official offer letter with the excuse that you needed an official start date for the letter (I have never heard of this before). I’m extremely disappointed in the hiring process from Fox and warn people to be cautious when interviewing for this company.
