I interviewed with 5 people (5 separate calls) over the phone, then 2 people in person. It sure felt like no one was in charge of making a hiring decision. After the 6th interview, I withdrew my name from consideration.
Long, drawn out, no communication from HR or the hiring manager on status or feedback following panel interview. It ended up being awkward with people I deal with on a daily basis.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at U.S. Bank in Feb 2026
Interview
Formalized process, not too many rounds, recruiter was prompt in responding to me. Pretty standard, recruiter call, HM call, team interviews, and then possible offer. No crazy take home assignments or excessive interview rounds.

I interviewed with them 8 years ago. I recommend them as an employer, however they are going through a lot of changes right now and I am not sure how it will impact their future.
