      CRE Credit Analyst Interview

      29 Oct 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Denver, CO)

      Interview

Quick screen call with an HR recruiter, and then a call with the hiring manager. The last stage was an interview with three team members and another interview with the hiring manager. Due to remote nature, these interviews were video calls. It was a negative experience because English is my second language and the position listed technical writing skills. Well these, apparently writing geniuses, asked me where I was from and what my first language was (likely illegal interview question), then all of the sudden started EMPHASIZING writing skills, and at the end demanded my writing samples from work. It's been more than two weeks since the interview - no word from them.
