I completed an HR screening interview for a UX leadership role. The conversation was professional, but after the screen I did not receive a clear update, rejection, or timeline despite follow-up. My concern is less about not advancing and more about the lack of candidate closure. In the current hiring market, post-screen ghosting has become common, but companies that value candidate experience should close the loop once a candidate has taken time to interview.
