I applied for the intermediate applications developer position through their website. After more than a month and a half, the recruiter reached out to me. After hearing the salary for the position I applied, I was not very excited. However, I was open to go through the interview process and see if there was something else that would excite me. So, I had a phone interview first with the hiring manager and a lead developer. That went really well, so they were willing to bring me onsite for senior developer position. For the onsite interview, I first met with the recruiter. She was pretty good in filling me with all the details, company benefits etc. Again when I asked the pay for senior developer, I was kinda shocked because from my experience I felt like this was the place that offered the least, though things turned out differently in the end. The recruiter then directed me to a conference room where I was joined by the hiring manager, another manager and two lead developers. It was all whiteboard questions and then some questions on personality, projects I mentioned on my resume. Overall it was pretty good. Mostly conversational. The managers and developers were pretty friendly and the team seemed to be pretty accommodating with two days work from home. The office is in Parsippany, NJ. Its a new building and at the end of the interview, they gave me a tour of the building (that includes gym, nice cafeteria, game zone etc), which I felt was a nice gesture. The whole interview process took around two and a half hours. I was offered 13% more than what was told to me in the beginning. However, due to some personal reasons, even though I accepted it, I had to decline it a week before my join date.
