I started as a part time package handler for about one year and then asked management for a promotion. They directed me to take a test, I passed, and then was offered a part-time operation supervisor position as UPS.

Applied online and went for a brief interview at human resources. No knowledge based questions were asked. From there had one more "interview" which was more of a tour and a chance to meet my manager. Most training happens on the job

I worked hard as a hourly employee, someone took notice and asked me about management. I took the easy MAPP test and in two weeks I was running the Local Sort. No questions, no interview, no other process.

Pretty standard in terms of the process. First the phone interview which I got in about a week then it led to an in person interview. Everything was one done in a timely fashion and I did receive the offer
