I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UPS (Oklahoma City, OK) in Dec 2009
Interview
I applied for the position online. The very next day I received a phone call telling me to come to an interview the following day. I arrived to the location I was told to meet about fifteen minutes early. I joined a room of about 20 people and signed a check in sheet. More people arrived afterward so there was probably a total of 35 people there. A man came in and told us all about what we would be doing and then he called us individually into an office to do an extremely short brief interview which mainly consisted of verifying our name and information. We were interviewed in the order which we signed the check in sheet so the sooner you get there, the sooner you will leave. The interviewer requested that I come back the next day for the next part of the process. The next day I came in and filled out some more paperwork and sat in a classroom with about 20 people and watched a two hour safety/training film. We were issued uniforms and told that somebody would contact us to schedule our first day of work.
Smooth and very easy to pass. Just speak and they will tell you what they have for you. You have nothing to be worried about. Just be ready to answer the phone.
Easy and quick, no problems at all I went straight through to the orrientation and that only took a few hours so thats pretty good you know I enjoyed the process
Phone with a supervisor. Super convenient and super easy. Affable man with tons of experience. Couldn't be happier. Later went in for an in person interview and to pick up gear.
