First you do an online application through the US Navy’s SEAP website and then if an engineer wants to work with you you’ll get a phone call interview that usually lasts 10-15 minutes
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Navy (Arlington, VA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Interview process was antiquated but the people were kind. The process took a long time and there were many hoops to jump through for an internship. Eventually the internship onboarding process was smoother.
