I applied online. I interviewed at United Nations (Montreal, QC) in May 2013
Interview
It was a multi-level process. First, you need recommendations and a cover letter that you submit on the official website. I had two subsequent interviews after that. You have to make sure your cover letter addresses the work the organisation is currently undertaking, that is how you get noticed.
Prima written assessment e poi colloquio orale. Parla delle tue esperienze precedenti, dei tuoi studi e quant'altro. Non fanno domande su competenze specifiche. Di solito vi sono due persone. Ti chiederanno cosa magari ti ha messo in difficoltà in esperienze precedenti.

Question 1
Quali sono stati tuoi motivi di scontro o difficoltà in lavori precedenti?
Quite intense. I had theory and oral interview. The theory part had limited time and it requires prior preparations. It came with a set of situational questions and I was required to come up with a PowerPoint presentation and excel sheet.

Question 1
Create a speech fir a n opening conference for COP 26
Quick - interned with 3 different branches and they all asked very similar questions (3 questions, followed up by any questions on your end). Only one online interview required, but others may ask for a written test too. Easy to pass as long as you prepare why you are interested in this role, what skills you bring, and talk briefly about your future career goals / why this internship would be beneficial to you.
