I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Upp Technologies (London, England)
Interview
Pretty flat simple interview, didn’t really feel listened too and the interview seemed super preoccupied right from the start of the call. Didn’t really shine a great light on the company. I then find out they’ve rejected everyone because they want Google analytics experience, something of which if they brought up in the interview they’d have know this is something I have. Complete waste of everyone’s time and to me seems like they don’t actually know what they’re after. A shame as the technology is interesting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The usual interview questions you’d expect when you apply for a first job to be honest.
What interested you about the role?
Talk about a time you did this…
We give everyone a screening interview; this is necessarily short as the person conducing the interview is usually from HR and not a technical person. The best from the screening interviews are passed for a more in-depth interview by the appropriately qualified members of Management. It is at this point that more in-depth information is asked for and provided. At Upp.ai we pride ourselves in recruiting and retaining the best in all areas we operate.
