It was the strangest process I have ever encountered. They set up an interview the seemingly traditional way by calling to schedule a time in person. After completing the entire in-person interview, I found out the interview didn't matter at all. They put a "ticket" in for you like a lottery to see who randomly get selected.
They need to be reviewed for discrimination also. I was directly told by the hiring manager for the department "we have only had one woman work here before, but unfortunately, she became pregnant. Would that be an issue?" I would have declined even after receiving the offer. I was also forced to demonstrate how easy it was for me to lift an object even though my resume stated I lifted 50 pounds for over five years.
