      Credit Controller Interview

      30 May 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Nottingham, England
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at VF (Nottingham, England)

      Interview

Very very easy. Applied online. Received the confirmation email. I did the video call and after a week the face to face interview. The interview was super easy. No math or tech skills are required. The only skill actually required is the second language. Furthermore, a bit of communication, negotiation and customer service skills are required for the job. So it was a pretty standard experience.

      Question 1

All the standard ones you can find on the internet. "Tell me about yourself" is probably the hardest.

      Anonymous employee
      Calverton, East Midlands, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at VF (Calverton, East Midlands, England) in Jun 2017

      Interview

The process itself was not very well organised. The position I initially applied for was filled in on the same day I applied for it. I was contacted a couple of months later for another vacancy. The recruitment specialist was always very nice, polite and positive. I then had a telephone interview which was short but fine. Right after I was conracted again to be told the position was placed on hold. A couple of weeks later I was contacted again for the same position but with a fixed term contract instead of a permanent position as I originally applied for and was always told that there is a lot of room for progression and high chances of becoming permanent. After I had my face to face interview it took nearly 2 weeks for a response. So on and all it took over a month to be recruited.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      Nottingham, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at VF (Nottingham, England) in Feb 2017

      Interview

I was invited to apply to the job after I was contacted directly by the company. They invited me for a telephone interview which went well. They invited me for a face to face interview.I thought at that point that I might have good chances since they knew I lived far and that I would have to relocate. I was interviewd by two young ladies who,I think, were very prejudiced.I replied correctly about questions about the history and nature of the business.I demonstrated that I knew what the position was about. After the interview they didn't get back to me I had to make several phone calls and a lady told me that I was not selected because I appeared nervous. But I know it's not the real reason. I think they are very hypocrite as a company,at least here in the UK.
