Interview
1st Interview with HR, general questions, no real interestt about my CV. Looked liked they just need to tick a box in their lists. Very neutral atmosphere. Maybe they were looking for someone more experienced
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Van Oord (Papendrecht) in Jan 2022
Interview
Very straight forward procedure. I applied through the websit. Was very soon contacted by HR for a first interview. The Pool Manager and the HR made me feel very warm and created a very nice energy during the first interview.
Soon I was asked to participate in a second interview with the Project Manager and the Pool Manager. They made me again feel very conveniently and discussed in more detail abou the role.
I asked to have a face to face interview at the Van Oord offices and my request was accepted. Can not describe how warm they made me feel.
I was given a very good offer but due to personal reasons I had to decline it. The HR and the Project manager contacted me and did their best to find a solution for my personal situation in order to make everything work.
I much appreciated their unique friendliness and politeness. They really justified the reputation they have as a very friendly, family like company.
