I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verkada (San Mateo, CA)
Interview
Excellent experience dealing with recruiter. Very friendly and open. Told me that he had to fight to get me an interview because CEO and manager only like to hire individuals from the likes of Stanford, MIT, Carnegie Mellon. Guy I interviewed with had less experience than me, but he had the correct school diploma. Needless to say I didn’t get hired with my degree from the University of (withheld).
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Verkada
Interview
The process from first interview to offer took about a month and a half. They did communicate with me at all times even though there were some delays. Overall the interviews in my opinion were fun and a good challenge. They did also pay for accommodations for the in person interview which was out of town for me.
I applied online. I interviewed at Verkada (San Mateo, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Aced and progressed through 6+ rounds, Additional VP Round at the final onsite. All to be told I didn’t have enough experience for the position. What a joke of a company.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Verkada (Salt Lake City, UT) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was lengthy, but felt structured and gave me the opportunity to get a feel for the company. It balanced both personality, technical skills, and presentation knowledge equally while also giving you the opportunity to ask questions.
