Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.

Application
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Erie, PA) in Mar 2013
Interview
Filled out paperwork to apply, received a call in a week to schedule a time to come in for a group interview. Group interview was pretty easy. I sat with a manager and three other women applying for the same position. We were all asked the same questions & just went around the table we sat at. I heard back in about a week and a half that they wanted me for the position. Nothing to sweat if you've done retail before.

Question 1
When was a time you needed to lead a group? What happened & what did you do?
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
