I worked at Victoria's Secret full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Gratis was decent, plus some lovely well trained members of staff

    Cons

Some of the worst leadership I’ve ever worked for, management don’t care if they forget breaks, some incredibly rude members of management and staff, favouritism is incredibly high, rude horrible staff

    Advice to Management

Stop belittling people over the radio and talking down to people, stop being so rude

    Pros

    Good discount, pretty work environment

    Cons

Horrible colleagues who think they’re better than you because they’ve worked there for longer. Bullies! Management have favourites and speak to you in a demeaning way in front of everyone.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being so cruel

I have been working at Victoria's Secret full-time

    Pros

Pay is reasonably good compared to most retailers
Monthly reviews and room for progression
Free clothes (although the quality is naff)

    Cons

Heavily targeted around sales -too much pressure
    4 hour contracts
    Not flexible
    4 week notice ?
A lot is expected from full time and part time associates with no real benefits/rewards given in return
Highly wasteful company -no environmental conscience

    Advice to Management

Involve staff more, give out more benefits, give out higher contracts to full time staff, less pressure around SPH's

    I worked at Victoria's Secret part-time

    Pros

Free clothes every few months. Great people to work with and always smells nice in the store. Customers are great to work with.

    Cons

So competitive and so much expected from you. The management is horrible and they say you get commission but you need to meet your target in order to get it, and you either get your pay for the day or commission, and it's not added to your wage. Was never allowed a day off, and even had to attend work when I had no voice and was vomiting every 10 minutes. Horrible how they treat their employees.

    Advice to Management

Don't be so hard on your employees. I never got praise from my management. Respect them as you would someone in a higher position.
