I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Saint Louis, MO) in Nov 2014
Interview
This was my first interview and it was pretty simple and to the point. They called me a couple of weeks after I submitted my application and asked me to come into an interview the next week, It was a simple group interview with 5 girls including myself. They asked questions about where we worked prior to applying and why we decided to leave. They also asked questions about where we would specifically like to work in the store. Overall the interview just seemed like a conversation. The employer wants to know your personality and how well you are with people. It would also be a big plus to have a lot of free time to be able to work.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
