I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Vihan Engineering (Ahmedabad) in May 2011
Interview
There was an on-campus recruiting event during my 3rd year at undergraduate university.
I was selected to appear in those interviews. Initially my transcripts, projects and resumes were checked and certain questions related to the same were asked.
Finally I got a call from HR department citing that I had been selected in the last 3 and I need to appear at their head quarters for final interview.
Overall this company pays attention a lot not to marks or grades but to technical knowledge, as to how will a person solve this practical problem because they believe that real world is completely different from text books and notes and that each problem has a different solution and has to be tackled differently.
They were thorough professional and lot of to the point technical questions were asked.

Question 1
A lot of difficult questions were asked ranging from electronics to Mechanical drawings and programming to software inputs and certain quality assurance, team spirit and leadership skills etc.
It was a very fun filled interview on the technical side as lot of prompt questions based on real time field problems were asked and their innovative solutions needed to be the key to answer.
