The process itself was quick and smooth, communication was clear, and I really liked how they shared a Knowledge Hub before the interview. It helped me understand the company better and made me even more excited about the opportunity.
What was very disappointing is that the job description said having a hospitality background was just a plus, not a requirement. During the interview, both interviewers mentioned they didnât come from hospitality either and that it wasnât an issue and I showed how much Iâm willing to learn. So I was surprised to later hear that I couldnât move forward because of that same reason specially after a first stage casual interview .
I had prepared a lot and was genuinely interested in the company, so itâs sad I didnât get a fair chance to show how passionate and capable I was for the role. The team was friendly and professional overall, but the feedback felt inconsistent and left me a bit let down after how much effort I put in.
