Interview
Group interview with a quick PowerPoint, then being shown how to use the equipment for the job. Equipment was very basic and easy to use. They then ask if you are able to work away from home.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at WIS International (Stockton-on-Tees, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
You apply online and then you are phoned by one of the managers who invites you to an "Interview".
You then sit in a room with about 30 other people and the WIS Workers tell you the pro's and con's of the job. They then leave the room and give you five minutes to decide whether you still want to be there. They then come back in and say that you are all going out the back to start doing practice counting and scanning exercises but it isn't a test.
After about 30 minutes, I was pulled aside along with everyone else and told to hand back the scanners as we were too slow and nobody would be getting hired. He then told me I had scanned 730 items in 30 minutes but that still wasn't quick enough. He then said that it wasn't really a practice run and we were all being tested on our speed.
