20 minute interview with a panel of 3 people. They handed me a piece of paper that had simple interview questions on the front and the back of it. They told me to take a minute to read over the questions and then one by one they asked me those exact questions. They wrote down my answers on their paper and then asked me if I had any questions for them. I was offered the job but declined due to the low pay. HR informed me that all new administrative assistants start at step 1 on their ESP pay scale, so please be aware. The job posting shows a pay range, but you will not get more than the first step, false advertising in my opinion. You cannot negotiate the pay with HR.
I’m not entirely sure how the interviewers can make their final decision after a single 20 minute interview, I’ve never had an interview that short. I do know that they had high turnover in that position and it’s probably due to the fact that they only meet interviewees for 20 minutes and then offer them low pay.
