I applied online. I interviewed at Wehrenberg Theaters (Bloomington, IL) in Jun 2016
Interview
Basic interview. What are some of your skills, how would you handle XX situations in the theater. The hiring manager was very nice and made the process nice and easy. You then watch a few videos on workplace safety once hired.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Wehrenberg Theaters (Saint Louis, MO) in Apr 2015
Interview
First, you take a page long front and back math test, testing your abilities with movie times, and giving change. It's nothing horrible, pretty simple. Then you meet with the manager, who has a paper with about 10 questions. He/She will ask you about your strengths and weaknesses, hobbies/activities, and any scheduling conflicts. Lastly, he/she will give you a one sided paper with about five scenarios, and you have to write down how you would react/respond to each situation. It would be helpful for you to research employee benefits and guidelines before going to the interview, just to give you a better understanding of your job, and to aid in answering the scenario questions. Hope this helps! Good luck with your interview, buddy! :D
