Interviews are easy to average. More about the number of interviews rather the going deep into technical discussion. Felt under challenged.
HR contacts insist on dressing up and putting on a tie. Ironically they were not able to apply same high standards with compensation.
Before interviews, old school HR person calls and tries to bucket you into a junior role, rather than by your experience/fit/competency. You will be guided towards lower level roles in case you do not know their roles/titles already.
Was put off by the old school dirty tricks of the interviewing senior HR person during the final HR interview. When I did not budge on desired designation and figure, he outright told me this would mean rejection. Sadly he first bucketed me down into a junior role, then later told me the desired designation and compensation won't fit the current position.
After 15 easy to average interviews and 1 absolutely bad discussion with the HR contact, regretted my decision to interview with Wellington. Got told how can developers expect high salary.
If you are from a first class company which does first class business, you will be disappointed in this two tier shop.
If you are above average, they may not be able to compensate.
