Wellington Management Senior Java Developer/Lead interview questions

Interviews are easy to average. More about the number of interviews rather the going deep into technical discussion. Felt under challenged. HR contacts insist on dressing up and putting on a tie. Ironically they were not able to apply same high standards with compensation. Before interviews, old school HR person calls and tries to bucket you into a junior role, rather than by your experience/fit/competency. You will be guided towards lower level roles in case you do not know their roles/titles already. Was put off by the old school dirty tricks of the interviewing senior HR person during the final HR interview. When I did not budge on desired designation and figure, he outright told me this would mean rejection. Sadly he first bucketed me down into a junior role, then later told me the desired designation and compensation won't fit the current position. After 15 easy to average interviews and 1 absolutely bad discussion with the HR contact, regretted my decision to interview with Wellington. Got told how can developers expect high salary. If you are from a first class company which does first class business, you will be disappointed in this two tier shop. If you are above average, they may not be able to compensate.
