I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at WestRock
Interview
I've interviewed with WestRock several times and will never do it again for multiple reasons. For one, I never received reimbursement for travel from any of my interviews. For another, the people I've met onsite have all been, on average, unprofessional and unorganized. Most of all, they are horrendous at communicating and being prompt. One of my onsite interviews, I literally never heard back from them even after emailing. At another onsite, they contacted me to accept an offer and then made me take a 3 hour long online assessment. Afterwards, they retracted the offer due to corporate not wanting to hire for the position and then referred me to another site to interview at. I am now ignoring any further offers for interviewing with them after spending countless hours and days along with money that I will never get back. The only thing I got out of the interview process with WestRock was what to identify as red flags in future interviews. Unless you're hurting for a job, I would highly recommend staying away from this company.
