I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whistic (Pleasant Grove, UT) in Mar 2022
Interview
Recruiter screening, then a couple hours of technical interviews and talking about experience, then an interview with the VP to talk about salary expectations. It was pretty straightforward, and one of the better experiences I've had with an interview process. The technical side wasn't meant to be tricky, then there were a number of questions to assess experience.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Whistic in Oct 2022
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me about the position. I had an interview with the person who would be the manager of this role and then 3 30 minute interviews with a panel, followed up by a 15 minute interview with the CEO. After the last interview I was ghosted for a week, which seemed strange since I had received very positive feedback from the interviewers. I reached out to the recruiter to see if there had been any updates. Then I got a generic response from the manager saying that they hired someone with more technical experience. Looking at the person who they hired, this is untrue, though he does appear to have significantly more experience being a Mormon missionary than I do. If you look at the company you will see that’s common among their employees. They claim to be committed to DE&I but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Whistic in May 2020
Interview
Met with them in their office. Had the usual technical interviews and a product interview. Had a chance to meet all the managers I would be working with and the team. They let me shadow them one day for a bit to see what their codebase and product was like.

They asked me to design a system of some sort, but it was a while back so I don't recall the specifics.
