The recruiter Scott reached out to me on LinkedIn and invited me to an interview for the role - I was not necessarily looking for a new position but the role seemed to align with my expertise and I was interested in the industry. The interview was set up swiftly and we had an initial interview. Throughout the interview I received positive feedback, my profile aligned closely with the role and the salary was not far out from my expectations. Everything seemed positive, however I have since heard nothing. I followed up over two weeks directly to Scott with no response before reaching out to a colleague Jessica for advice on what was happening - I assumed it would be a no given the silence however some feedback to take forward would be appreciated. I was assured someone would contact me however have been totally ghosted. Really disappointing candidate experience - if recruiters reach out to candidate, have the decency to keep them in loop instead of ghosting people.
