After clearing it, I was shortlisted for a 30-minute virtual interview with the Head of QA.
During the interview, only a few theoretical and situational questions were asked, and there was limited discussion .
It appeared that the interviewer did not come from a QA background, which may have affected the technical depth of the evaluation. As a result, I felt my hands-on QA experience was not fully assessed.
The interview concluded within about 10 minutes, and when I asked for feedback, there was hesitation and no specific input was provided. Constructive feedback is important for candidates to understand their performance and areas of improvement.
A more structured, technically aligned, and domain-focused interview process would ensure a fairer and more meaningful evaluation for candidates.
