I had my first round of interviews at the Wood Mac office. Went directly from application to face-to-face interview. Met with consulting team members and had an interview followed by a written assessment.
Asked questions about qualities of successful consultants, why you would make a good candidate, etc. Also asked a lot of questions regarding the energy industry. Issues, future predictions, process, etc.
Be up to date about key issues in the industry. Also should know what has happened in the last few years, and also any future predictions.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wood Mackenzie (Singapore) in Mar 2024
Interview
The consulting interview was rigorous yet insightful, emphasizing problem-solving and client interaction skills. It provided a deep dive into strategic thinking and industry knowledge. While it was tough, the interviewers were all very understanding, and were willing to explain when I was in doubt.
