I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at World Market (Fort Worth, TX) in Jun 2014
Interview
Easy interviews. First one with a supervisor, a few questions about yourself and basically reviewing your application with you. How many hours can you work, Are you 18 or older, and some What Would You Do scenarios. If they think you're fit for the job they call you back for a second interview with the GM. Second interview is pretty much the same thing and asking you when you can start. Overall interview process is simple. It also helps if you are TABC certified for they have wine tasting every Saturday. also is a good way to get off the registers and show you can do other things beside ring up customers.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at World Market (Fort Collins, CO) in Jan 2026
Interview
I was taken to the back and the interview began. The questions were very generic. There was no questions that caught me off guard which was nice. The interview was about 40 minutes long which I thought was shocking but I was nervous at first and the manager made me feel comfortable.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at World Market (Cary, NC) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process was easy and simple. Managers were extremely friendly and kind. They asked very basic questions that were targeted towards your availability and you’re role at the store.
Schedueling conflict. When I showed up the person who was supposed to interview me was not there and someone else had to take over. They seemed unprepared to do conduct an interview.
