Wunderkind Full Stack Web Developer interview questions

First step was phone screen w HR. Consisted of the usual behavioral questions and learning more about the company. I found the recruiter to be a little bit removed from our convo as though he was trying to barrel through it. Next step was a code challenge that I received 1 day after the call. I had 7 days to complete it but was encouraged to submit it ASAP. I submitted after 1 day - completed all deliverables, worked very hard - and then it went dark...no response from them for a week. I followed up at that point, only to hear back two days later via an automated response that I was rejected.
