      Content Developer Interview

      20 Mar 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

      I interviewed at Zibtek (Bengaluru)

      Interview

Zibtek has no concept of professionalism. My interview process was nothing less than 'sheer harassment'. Right from the beginning I had communicated that I'm only looking for a work from home (WFH) profile. They proceeded with my profile and made me go through 4 rounds of interview, including an office visit. Meanwhile the HR also called me to communicate that the company was very impressed with my profile. He even rolled out an informal offer, discussing the compensation and company policies in detail. That also included a 2-year contract! However, after the last interview with one of the partners, I was informed that my profile was very impressive but my candidature has been rejected only because I prefer WFH. When I asked the HR that why my profile was taken forward when WFH was the basic issue, I was told that initially the company wanted to test if I'm a perfect fit or not and then they negotiated on working mode. So the company should have communicated their terms at the beginning only and I wouldn't have wasted my time and efforts for a profile I would never be interested in. Internal communication is pathetic at Zibtek which leads to a pathetic candidate experience. Company people give you contradictory statements and assurances and do not stick to their own words. I'm glad I got to know about their unprofessionalism before signing a contract with them. Zibtek, it's high time you look up and act on the definition of professionalism.
