I was interviewed by a panel of 3 employees at the same time. Only one of the three were personable. Interview was quite intense; I've worked in HR for years, and they left me feeling totally grilled. Manager left the room for 5 or so minutes during the interview, then returned. They were a tough crowd, not giving me much feedback verbally. Body language said they were disinterested. They said they'd be in touch by the end of the week.
After my initial interview I heard NOTHING for about 2.5 weeks, which left me to think I'd not gotten the role, then found out I was a lead candidate.
I had a second interview with an executive leader. During the interview I realized the priorities for the role weren't totally aligned by department. This interview was interrupted FOUR TIMES by other people, and the interviewer did nothing to stop it. I felt my time was not respected as a candidate.
I received a call the next day, asking me to interview with a final exec member, which I did. Then I was offered the role. I had another offer on the table and told the manager that (so I could be transparent). I asked for the weekend to decide and the manager guilted me by saying "this search took a long time; if you don't accept then we have to start over with our search." My goodness. RED FLAG.
Overall, their communication was poor and I was not treated well as a candidate. I would not have been happy working there.
