I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at iHeartMedia (New York, NY) in Mar 2024
Interview
Went thru 4 phone/video calls before being asked to come in person to do a presentation. Got great feedback at the office and discussed next steps to come back in for another 2 in person interviews. Was then ghosted via email. Followed up multiple times and was given the run-around that they were busy but I was still in the running. It has now been over a month with no updates. Horrible experience. If you're going to make someone put in hours of work to present to you at least give them the decency to say you are going with someone else.

Question 1
Mostly went into my past experience and how I would use that in radio.
It’s a long process. It was also super chaotic because they were going through a restructuring at the time (get used to that if you work there), so they actually retracted the offer at the last second (over voicemail), then ghosted me, then offered me the job.
Good company and quick process from the start all the way to the finish. Completed in less then 2 weeks from my 1st round interview. Offer letter was clean and accurate.
It was straightforward for this position. In learning more about the role, how very head hunter and sort of cut throat in gaining sales, even not in your territory, I didn't believe it wasn't the best fit for me. If you have a connection or relationship with someone in a certain account or industry, even if it may not be assigned to you, then you can take the sale away from the designated account executive. No half or anything. So you could be working, nurturing, and building the relationship and someone can come in and just take it away instead of working together and fostering a more collaborative approach.
As a "bonus" to the interview, they wanted me to make an introduction of a relationship I had with someone in the industry or account that I would potentially sell to and wasn't comfortable fostering that conversation and opted of the interview process.
