I recently had an experience applying for a position with a company that left me feeling extremely disappointed. The hiring process had three stages. Firstly, I had a phone call with an HR lady who was very kind and informative about the position. The second stage was a home take challenge where I had to create a simple todo app with stopwatch and with the ability to export CSV. I spent over 20 hours on the app and shared the GitHub link with the company, but unfortunately, they didn't even test it. I know for a fact that the app was connected to Firebase, so I would have known if anyone had interacted with it. Despite the amount of time and effort I put into the project, I was left feeling ignored and unappreciated. Despite this, I was invited for a final interview with the team lead. I scheduled the interview for the earliest time possible, which was 10 pm on a Monday, a week after picking the date. However, 15 minutes before the scheduled interview, it was canceled. I was told that they had already reached their hiring limit for this round and was asked to contact the recruiter. I was left feeling frustrated and confused as to why they would invite me to an interview without even testing my app first. Overall, my experience with this company was the worst I have ever had. I do not recommend anyone to apply for a position with this company, as they do not value the time and effort of their applicants.
