2 years probationary training program which includes 11 weeks training at Tuilliallan. Training includes legislation, officer safety, PE and so on. Modular format over 2 years period Divided into 6 units: Policing and the community, evidence, crime, general policing duties, road policing, writing skills. Formal examinations and practical exercise plus a written exam. 2 mandatory fitness test Module 2 Training on IT systems and training relevant to the assigned division ( 5 - 7 days ) Module 3 Deployed tutor constable, assessed by tutor and sergeant.
