I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at speedbox in Mar 2026
Interview
I had a frustrating experience interviewing with Speedbox. The technical round lasted over an hour, where I answered all questions confidently, explained concepts in depth, and solved the coding problem live while clearly walking through my approach. The interviewer appeared satisfied throughout the discussion.
Post interview, HR communicated that the feedback was positive and that only a final round with the CEO was pending. Based on this, I was led to believe I had cleared the technical evaluation.
However, after a follow-up, the feedback suddenly changed to a completely different narrative, which did not reflect the actual interview at all. This kind of contradictory communication shows a lack of proper evaluation and poor coordination between the interviewer and HR.
It raises serious concerns about how candidates are being assessed and whether decisions are even based on consistent criteria. It felt like a complete waste of time and effort.
Advice to candidates:
Do not rely on verbal feedback or initial positive signals. The process can change unpredictably, so manage your expectations accordingly.
Suggestion to company:
Fix internal misalignment and ensure that feedback given to candidates is accurate and consistent. Such experiences negatively impact the company’s credibility.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at speedbox (Mumbai) in Feb 2020
Interview
Had an initial round with HR
Then was given an assignment
Then had another call for assignment discussion
Then had a final HR negotiation round for salary discussions.
The assignment was quite tedious and lengthy, it took me a lot of time to complete it, however unsure if the company is growing.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at speedbox (Mumbai) in May 2019
Interview
They shortlisted me through linkedin, and then gave me an assignment, then I had a call with the manager. The manager asked me a bunch of questions which were written down and recorded, he cross questioned me on my responses.
