Credit Controller: Kwan Yick UK Ltd.
We are pleased to announce that a fantastic job role has become available for a highly motivated individual to join the Finance Team at Kwan Yick UK Ltd. as ‘Credit Controller’.
Who are Kwan Yick?
Offering the highest quality brands, we are one of the largest suppliers of Oriental foods, sauces and packaging materials to the Chinese take away and wholesale market in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will;
- Have at least two years’ experience working within Credit Control.
- Have experience working as part of a Finance Team.
- Be able to speak English and Cantonese fluently. It would also be preferable if the candidate could speak fluent Mandarin.
- Have experience working in a fast-paced, busy office environment.
- Have experience working with finance software and/or SAP S4 HANA Public Cloud.
- Have experience working with Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Be able to assist with month end and end of year reporting for the Finance Team.
- Be confident in their ability to contact customers’ regarding invoices, raise credit notes and provide refunds as required.
- Be confident in their ability to complete necessary administrative tasks or processes, such as, answering phone queries, filing and emailing customers and/or colleagues.
- Be a positive thinker who is able to solve problems quickly.
- Take pride in their work and in a manner that prioritises accuracy and efficiency.
- Be able to work on their own initiative, and is confident in their own decision-making.
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Be confident in their ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues from various departments across the Company.
- Be able to adapt to change.
- Be able to follow instructions.
- Have an understanding of the importance of complying with current GDPR legislation, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Undertake relevant training in order to improve their understanding and knowledge of both their job role and Company processes.
- Have the current and valid right to work in the UK.

The weekly working hours for this job role are 42.5, over five days per week (Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30).
The work location for this job role is in-person and the successful candidate will be required to reliably commute to the Kwan Yick site in Newport, South Wales.
