Amsterdam Commodities (ACOMO) distributes tons of food every year. The company focuses on trading and distributing a variety of agricultural products such as nuts, tropical produce, dried fruits, and dehydrated vegetables around the globe. Its Catz International subsidiary works with spices and food raw materials. ACOMO owns and operates TEFCO, a distributor of natural ingredients for food manufacturers in the Benelux countries. It also owns a minority interest in RCMA Commodities Asia, which specializes in natural rubber trade and distribution. In 2010 it doubled the size of its tea and seeds business via an acquisition. ACOMO's customers include plantations, farmers, spice mills, and industrial bakeries.
