Bazaar Group is a Northumberland headquartered and European operating business specialising in soft furnishings, founded in 2005 by Jayne Dolder.
Recognising an opportunity to redefine the bean bag, Jayne began designing contemporary soft seating. Under the guidance of Jayne and Mark Dolder, the company has grown to become a soft seating category leader, built on a relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and a deep knowledge of the soft furnishings industry.
The next chapter commenced in 2021 with a private equity investment from Comhar Capital, acquiring a majority share in the business. Since then, the partnership has developed and implemented an exciting growth plan which incorporates an aggressive European expansion project in the next phase of operational development.
In September 2022, the first stage of Bazaar Group’s European expansion plans began with the launch of a manufacturing distribution base in Hamburg, Germany. The hub is focused upon meeting the rising demand from the business’ European customer base. This exciting move paves the way for Pan-European operations fuelling the business’ ambitious growth plans.
