Description CFS Group is in a sticky situation. The holding company and its subsidiaries -- such as Ona Corporation, IFS Industries, and Multibond -- make adhesives, coatings, and emulsion polymers for North American and European markets. Its Refractory Sales & Service subsidiary makes monolithic refractory products for aluminum, nickel, and steel manufacturers. CFS Group operates four manufacturing plants in the US, two in Canada, and one in Europe. It also maintains storage facilities throughout North America. Incorporated in 1925 as Canadian Foundry Supplies and Equipment Ltd. The company went public as CFS Refractories in 1986. After merging with Ajawak Investments in 2000, the company again became private.
