I have been working at Corecom Consulting full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The initial contact with Corecom is reflective of the business itself. They have an amazing lady in internal recruitment called Ashlene Grant who puts you at ease instantly and gets to the core reasons that you want to get into recruitment. Ash is incredibly personable and keeps in contact regularly throughout the process meaning when I got to the end of my job hunt with 3 offers on the table I knew exactly who I wanted to choose.

During my interview I was also invited to meet the team, and got the chance to interview every member of staff one to one, everyone was open and honest about the ups and downs they have faced in recruitment but the biggest sell for me was everyone genuinely enjoyed being there!

Previously I have worked for agencies where they portray an image of 'Success and Happiness' during the interview process to get you through the door only to find out that everyone who works there hates their job, manager and the environment itself.

Finally, Jonathan Sanderson the Director speaks to you as an equal, and invests his time and knowledge into making you the best recruiter possible. He doesn't micro-manage or 'crack the whip' he shares his knowledge and experience and gives you the tools you need to be successful. It's very hard to find a manager like Jon in a sales environment and working for him was also a huge reason i chose Corecom over other agencies.

I'm now in my 6th week with Corecom and I am 100% sure i have made the right decision.

Brilliant boss, amazing team, exciting role and an all around great place to work!!!

    Cons

They don't have a communal toaster (clutching at straws)

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Corecom Consulting (Leeds, England) in March 2018.

    Interview

I applied through one of the job boards and got contacted by their exclusive recruiter - David Gibbon.
He gave a really thorough screening which gives a great impression of the company!

arranged a telephone interview for 2 days later with Rick - Director
That was very thorough again, really double checking everything David had gone through but also having a chat, not too formal but formal enough to take it seriously.
Both David and Rick made the opportunity sound very appealing without trying to sell it to you. They were realistic in how difficult it can be.

3 days later I had the face to face, was originally meant to be an assessment day but unfortunately, I couldn't attend the date they had so I went alone and was interviewed by the 3 directors.

Very friendly, made you really feel at ease which to me was so important due to being outnumbered 3:1.
I had prepared my presentation lasting around 4-5 minutes, very easy.
They then asked questions about what drives me, how I came about the role, why corecom etc.
Great to chat with them. Then I had a 'meet the team' section where got to meet everyone and ask about their experiences. Everyone was really genuine, great feel to the office!

Overall a great experience and offered the job the next day.
They don't keep you guessing, keep you in the loop and honest.
