SII "IS" in the business of providing IT consulting and engineering services to high-tech companies and other clients that keep large databases of information, such as banks, insurers, and media interests. The company assists with the engineering and integration of large databases and provides training and consultation for the implementation and maintenance of these systems. Big clients such as Alcatel-Lucent, IBM, and Siemens work with SII on planning and developing everything from large data-processing networks to autonomous data systems used in car electronics, televisions, and mobile phones. CEO Bernard Huvé and his family own nearly half of the company's stock and control more than 60% of its voting rights.
