Fixfast began as a distributor of goods to the building envelope in Surrey back in 1975.
Back then, the business was very much small and regional. Founded by Alleyn Lynes, the family business focused on the needs of only a handful of contractor customers in the roofing and cladding industry, focusing on providing high-quality service rather than the quantity of customers.
Today, Fixfast is a global manufacturer of products for the building envelope. We have a global supply chain and a range of approved factories around the world, selling not just nationally for iconic and inspiring buildings across the UK, but internationally around the globe.
With expertise spanning over 40 years, we have grown into an international business with branches in the UK, Ireland, and the USA.
We’ve manufactured and sold over 65 million fasteners overall in the last 12 months, including 9 million of our MatchFast range. We have over 100 people in the Fixfast team, and the largest stock holding in our market.
We’re constantly growing.
Alleyn also had a strong belief in ‘becoming better’ – and this constant need to develop, grow, and improve has led to a strong culture of looking for new and innovative ways of doing business. We invest heavily in both our people and products to bring you high quality customer service and reliable products that have been specially designed and engineered.
