Handling the COVID-19 pandemic as a digital company has its own obstacles, that if overcome, can lead to maintaining or even increasing productivity. At Ginbits, we always try to be as preemptive as possible. Since the work we do does not always require physical presence in the office, we made sure to prepare for a possible second lockdown. The end of the first lockdown saw Ginbits equipping its employees with laptops and all necessary equipment required for work to continue as it was. The decision to work remotely prior to the second lockdown in Greece taking effect was agreed by everyone, so when the second lockdown became a reality, we had already been working remotely, transitioning smoothly. As a result, the new lockdown phase currently active in Greece hasn’t had any impact on the company’s workflow, as we managed to not only foresee that, but create a working schedule that allowed everyone to stay competitive with themselves, and combat the struggles one might face during limited movement....Show more
