High Steel also makes steel structures for buildings such as manufacturing plants, power plants, and sports arenas, and offers erection services and emergency repair services. Working with contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Skanska, and Middlesex, High Steel has fabricated steel for thousands of bridges, mainly along the East Coast. The company has four fabrication plants in Pennsylvania and is a part of High Industries. High Steel traces its roots back to 1931, when it was founded as High Welding Company.
