    Technical Sales Consultant Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Brentwood, England
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ITW (Brentwood, England) in August 2016.

    Interview

Two-stage interview, with the initial interview fairly informal but informative. Very much two-way and reciprocal. A key understanding of the industry sector and how the company works internally was required along with a core technical understanding of specialist products for construction.

    Interview Questions

    • What strengths can you bring to the role?   1 Answer

    Negotiation

Little negotiation was required as the interviewers have a good knowledge of industry-standard levels of package, plus the company has a strong corporate focus and structure.
